Loctal 4P1L pcb

Four days off of work, so time to finalize the PCB designs and send out the order.

Here’s one for the 4P1L, along with a schematic of what is on the board.

The teflon Loctal sockets have 1.25mm pins which will allow me to put ferrite beads directly over them, removing the need to add wire-through versions onto the PCB, should I decide to use any.



The PCB has two tabs at the edge to hold a bypass cap that will stick out the side of the PCB. This will allow any size capacitor to be placed without needing a lot of extra PCB surface area.

Benefit to this is that, if desired, you can chose a different bias topology by not soldering on the Rk and 100nF and moving those parts to an external location (i.e. filament bias like Ale uses). In this case use the + pad of Ck or the F- terminal.
